As we celebrate Earth Day this month, we reflect on what it truly means to invest in our planet. For us, it means turning ambitious goals into operational reality. From growing our community solar portfolio to advancing our diversity initiatives and redefining project execution metrics, our latest accomplishments highlight a deep commitment to sustainable, equitable growth.

LET'S POWER OUR PLANET'S FUTURE TOGETHER!

How New Mexico is Driving Clean Energy Savings and Equity

New Mexico’s community solar program is accelerating clean energy growth and equity to help reach the state's goal of 50% renewable energy by 2030. Our latest blog explores this expanding initiative — including its 30% low-income carve-out — and how Standard Solar is leading the charge. With more than 65 MW of projects in New Mexico, highlighted by our new 48.4 MW portfolio, we are proud to strengthen the region’s clean-energy supply.

The New Scorecard: Performance Plus Delivery Certainty

In the latest issue of RE:NEW, Seth Adams, Senior VP of Construction, explains why procurement certainty and safe-harbor inventory have evolved from tax strategies into critical infrastructure requirements that keep projects on track. The ultimate metric for project success is no longer just megawatts installed — it’s schedule confidence and time-to-service.

CleanTechnica Feature: The Community Solar Lifeline

Community solar continues to provide a vital, economical energy alternative for ratepayers nationwide. A recent CleanTechnica feature highlighted the rapid expansion of these local solar arrays, spotlighting our 48.4 MW New Mexico acquisition as a prime example of the movement's momentum.

Powering Local Resilience: The Knox Solar + Storage Project

Energy storage has evolved from a simple backup power solution into a core driver of solar project economics and grid resilience. Putting this into practice, we partnered with the Massachusetts Acton Water District to develop two robust solar plus storage systems: the Knox 1.5 MW solar and 2 MWh storage project, and the Lawsbrook 4.7 MW solar and 4 MWh storage system.

Storage Surpasses 100 GW Milestone

Energy storage deployment is accelerating worldwide, securing its position as a critical component of the clean energy transition. According to recent data from Wood Mackenzie, the market saw massive growth in 2025.

April Poll: As the U.S. solar fleet matures, which strategy is most critical for long-term portfolio value?

Proactive repowering (upgrading older modules/inverters to boost NRC)
Advanced O&M (using AI/drones for predictive maintenance)
Revenue stack diversification (adding storage or participating in ancillary services)
Contract restructuring (renegotiating PPAs or merchant exposure)
